Hello,
I apologize if this is an incorrect forum for this inquiry - but I could not find an active link for leaving an email for a specific priest - have they all been disabled? In fact, several of the items that appeared as if they should be active links were disabled. It's possible I am doing something wrong, but cannot figure out what it is - so - I would appreciate any help or guidance you could provide. (This was the only active link I could find).

Thank you,
Burt

Father Anselm was one of the O.F.M. Capuchins that would come to our Motherhouse on Solly Ave. in Phila. to hear confessions. His kind and gentle presence was much appreciated. God rest him!

I was browsing, looking for info about Capuchin Franciscan Friars. I knew two Friars very well. They were from Pittsburgh . . . Father Marcellus Fuller and Father Pius (Can't remember his last name). Father Pius was pastor at Sacred Heart parish in New Philadelphia Ohio, and Father Marcellus was pastor of St Joseph parish in Dover Ohio. I am an architect, and Father Marcellus commissioned me to design a new church building and friary for St Joseph parish (1964). He and I traveled eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania, looking at catholic churches. He told me a lot about the friars of St Augustine province, about their place at Herman Pa, about their Toner Institute in Pittsburgh. I'll never forget him.

Thank you for this beautiful post! My husband, Chris and I are in the very beginning stages of SFO formation and love having these special names of those who have gone before us.

His peace to you, Always,

Padre Pio was truly a wonderful man who was full of humility and holiness. My paternal great grandmother was born around the same time and place (Pietrelcina) of Padre Pio. May God bless her soul she passed on many years before I was born, though I wonder if she ever knew him in person. Thank you for posting this article.
