Wills and Bequests
Wills and bequests are important components of estate planning, the process of managing your assets and choosing what legacy you will leave behind, including your legacy of faith. Your Will and other estate documents provide an ideal opportunity to testify to your faith and provide resources that will support the life and ministry of the Capuchin Franciscans. Bequests can be made directly to the Capuchins.
IRA Charitable Rollover is now a Permanent Law
Each IRA owner over age 70 ½ may make a transfer of up to $100,000 per year to a qualified charity. IRA charitable rollovers are tax-free and not included in adjusted gross income. An IRA charitable rollover may fulfill part or all of your required minimum distribution.
Wills and Bequests through The Catholic Foundation
Another option is to plan your will and bequest in coordination with The Catholic Foundation, an experienced professional philanthropic organization. You can learn more about this option here: http://catholicfounda.wpengine.com/your-will-and-special-gifts/
To discuss the various options, and to learn how you and the Church can benefit, contact Development Director, Debbie Scott, with the Capuchin Franciscans at 303.204.1440 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
