On the Feast of All Souls, the Church remembers those who have gone before us, 'marked with the sign of faith.'
It has become a tradition among some of the fraternities in the Mid-America Province to intercede on behalf of the deceased through a prayer vigil at the site of burial.
Pictured at left is the stone marker for the Capuchin Franciscan and Capuchin Poor Clare plot at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Denver, CO. Friars from St. Francis of Assisi Friary and Fraternidad San Antonio held a prayer held a prayer vigil at the site where four of our Capuchin brothers and sisters are buried.
Eternal rest grant unto them O' Lord,
May they rest in peace!
